About

Dr. File

I'm a licensed psychologist offering individual and couples therapy for adults. Throughout training I worked in a variety of settings including an integrative healthcare clinic, a primary care clinic, outpatient psychological clinics, community mental health centers, and residential rehabilitation programs. At these sites I worked with individuals and couples in therapy, facilitated therapy and psychoeducational groups, performed psychological assessments, and was a member of multiple interdisciplinary treatment teams. I've been trained in a range of treatment orientations including Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness-based, Interpersonal, and Psychodynamic psychotherapy. The diversity in my training background has influenced the integrative nature of my approach to therapy and enables me to create an individualized treatment plan to suit your specific needs, goals, and any limitations. My work includes the treatment of depression, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and challenges with sleep. My current specialities are the treatment of depression, anxiety, and relationship issues.
